Daughter of the King

Once a month at our church, the women have a "W2W Saturday."  W2W stands for Woman-to-Woman.  As part of the morning, one of the ladies shares her testimony.  Today, the pastor's wife shared her testimony.  She is such a beautiful woman, inside and out!

I have the privilege of creating thank you cards for the ladies that share their testimonies, so I wanted to create an extra special card for Debbie.  The sketch I used for this card is a previous Mojo Monday Sketch.  I also used a Verve sentiment.

Wicked is oh so FUN!

Have you ever looked at a stamp set and wondered what in the world you were going to use it for?  That's what happened to me with the Wicked SOTM from CTMH.  Anyway, there are lots of individuals out there that can think outside the box.  After seeing so many great ideas with this set last fall, I created this card to give away.

Inspiration Cards for WOTG stamps

The first card used the Lucky WOTG stamp set, which works well for both masculine and feminine cards.  This card could be used for a graduation card, which I need to be making several of...

The Mayberry WOTG stamp set is super cute and great for summer stamping.  I love the bright colors on this card.  I used a few different ink colors to stamp the pear--such a neat technique.

Slipped my Mind

Here is another inspiration card I made for a stamp set that I sold.  The name of the stamp set slips my mind, but I do like the card.

Sold

When I saw the Love Life stamp set from CTMH, I knew it was one that I wanted to have.  Considering I have very little space for more stuff, I decided to try to sell some of my older CTMH stamp sets.  The Simple Things was one of those sets.  When I sell a stamp set, I try to include a handmade card using that set.

Family cards...

Here is the card I made for our second daughter's birthday.  The papers were left over from a dry erase board we had made for her friend's birthday.  At the time she picked the papers out for that project she couldn't stop talking about how much she liked the paper.  It was fun to see her face light up when she opened this card.
I made this card for my husband.  He doesn't like anything too girly, so I used the Cricut AP cartridge to cut the shapes and a couple of CTMH stamps for all the stamping.

Didn't get done in time....

This is a card I made using the first Mojo Monday Sketch of February.  While I didn't finish it in time to link to the cards for last week, I am glad to have used this sketch.  It was a fun one to work with.  I pulled some papers from my stash.  My goal this year is to use what I have!

Last of "You and Me Kit" Papers

I absolutely loved the papers and stamp set from the May 2011 CTMH special--You and Me Kit.  I've been saving the last few scraps and finally decided to use them for cards.

The first card features the more masculine papers and a current "NEW" stamp set called A Journey.  It's only $6.95!

The next two cards feature the more feminine papers and the swirl from the stamp set that came with the kit.  Both Scripture sentiments are from Verve.
